In the UK, it is compulsory under the laws that alcohol must be sold under the authorization of a license holder. In the licensed premises, every sale of alcohol is authorized by the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS). If you wish to have a personal license, you must be having an accredited qualification. This course provides delegates with a general understanding of first aid and how to manage incidents safely. Training will ensure that delegates are able to act confidently in an emergency situation; identifying the cause, alerting the emergency services and providing appropriate care until these services arrive. The course lasts half a day (3 hours) and delegates will be assessed throughout the day with a certificate awarded upon successful completion.

Once the course is completed, there will be an assessment through a multiple-choice exam. The candidates scoring 28 marks out of a total of 40, i.e. 70% will successfully receive a Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RFQ) certificate. The results will be announced within 10-15 days of the exams. One can also get the result on the same day of the assessment as well. The passing rate is 96%.
